What is Sheet Metal Fabrication?

The main arm of our Fabrication & Finishing division is our custom sheet metal fabrication service. As sheet metal fabricators, we support a range of industries including defence, military, electronics & communications with our punch pressing, forming and welding specialisms.

Punch Presses

Our highly accurate CNC punch presses are able to produce repeatable, quality profiled flat pattern blanks. With enhanced tooling features such as hinge, louvre and forming available our sheet metal fabrication capabililty is limitless.

Forming Machines

Our skilled operators, coupled with our presses and our wide range of tooling capabilities, are able to overcome those intricate forms that are sometimes required. We also have specialised tooling suppliers to help with any bespoke forming requirements on specific components.

Welding

Our welders are qualified to BS EN287-1:2011 standard, which means you can have complete confidence in our experienced and expert team. Our welding department has a wide array of equipment, which helps us produce a range of welding techniques to achieve the high standards required by our customers.

Laser Cutting

For precise and high-quality metal products, laser cutting offers unmatched efficiency and speed. Design & CAD/CAM

We understand that not all companies have the skills or expertise in-house to carry out sheet metal design.

We therefore offer the latest SolidWorks 3D Design capability to help our customers evolve their sheet metal design into their products, whilst providing the most cost-effective solutions.

Inspection is a vital part of our product control, and we maintain vigorous high standards and quality controls, as is to be expected from an ISO 9001:2008-accredited company. We always welcome visits from customers who wish to review our procedures and documentation.
