About the Role

In 2024 we purchased a local, reputable Fabrication company and now offer fine tolerance sheet metal work as well as finishing to all of our products.

We have an exciting new opportunity for a Divisional Quality Lead, who will be responsible to the Quality Manager, to join our Fabrication & Finishing division.

Key Responsibilities will include:

  • Responsibility for the overall Quality outputs of the Fabrication and Finishing site, working to company KPIs.
  • Manage the process of all internal and external NCRs.
  • Visual and Dimensional inspection working with other Quality Engineers.
  • Ensuring all staff have good knowledge and are working to our company QMS.
  • Collaborate with all relevant stakeholders to develop, implement and monitor preventative actions on non-conforming product – reaching and tackling the true root cause.
  • Suggest improvements to enhance quality and sustainability, reduce waste, or increase efficiency

What we are looking for:

  • A background in manufacturing, preferentially sheet metal.
  • Previous experience in a Quality function.
  • Confident with interacting with various business stakeholders.
  • A knowledge of ISO:9001 Quality Management system.
  • Detailed knowledge of FAIR, FMEA and 8D.
